Energy Now Expo 2018 supports Forage Aid

As part of this year’s Energy Now Expo event, we will again be working with our chosen charity forage aid, who support farmers whose livestock has been affected by an extreme weather, by providing forage and/or bedding to those in need. This year, we will be running a very exciting raffle whereby attendees and exhibitors can purchase tickets from Energy Now stand for £5.00

For more information, please visit the Energy Now stand at the event.

About Forage Aid

Forage Aid is the charity that supports farmers whose livestock has been affected by extreme weather by providing forage and bedding to those in need.

The Forage Aid initiative sources forage and bedding from donations and pledges from the farming community and distribute it to those whose own supply of feed has been destroyed or made inaccessible due to the weather. The charity delivered emergency supplies of animal feed to livestock producers during the Somerset floods in 2014, however the initiative is no longer about providing help on an ad hoc basis.

"We want to be ready to help in any emergency and our aim is to step in quickly when necessary" says Forage Aid Founder Andrew Ward.

Energy Now Expo is a key event for us because of the audience it attracts. there’s a wide variety of farmers and landowners who attend. and they are largely decision makers, all looking to diversify and maximise land use. We usually have a great reception at the show and generate good leads from it.
